Duckless Wallace Bandmanduck perished in a motorbike accident on Gratiot Avenue.

On Saturday, a motorbike and a car collided, killing two persons.

The crash occurred around 1:45 a.m. on Gratiot Avenue near Mack in Detroit. Read more here.

According to witnesses, one passenger was ejected from the car, and the motorbike rider was flung off the bike.

Investigators are still attempting to determine how the crash occurred, but police have verified that two persons died.

Gratiot Avenue remains closed in the area as police investigate.

In recent weeks, there have been several fatal crashes across the city. Just yesterday, police responded to another major crash that left at least one person in critical condition.
