On August 31, three 15-year-old lads were caught on CCTV momentarily caressing the cat, Bucket, before dragging her from a brick wall outside a residence on Bourke Street in Goulburn, about 190 kilometers southwest of Sydney.

Bucket is a highly trusting and friendly cat who enjoyed being cuddled by schoolchildren and neighbours before being taken away.
Her affection was on full display in the heartbreaking CCTV, with the elderly cat carried away by the boys without a fight.

They were heard saying ‘this is my cat’ and laughing about putting Bucket in their bike basket as they carried her down the street.
