According to reports, Aung Khant Kyaw Zin and his girlfriend killed Ma Su Myat Win with two knives, cutting her body into pieces and hanging it from an air conditioner.

The individual who killed a young woman at the 32nd Beauty Land Hotel in Panbedan Township, as well as those who helped bury her body, have been caught.

The person who killed a young woman at the 32nd Beauty Land Hotel in Panbedan Township and those who helped her hide her body were arrested, the National Defense and Security Council Press Office announced today (October 8).

32nd Beauty Land Hotel, Ward No. (11), Panbedan Township, Yangon Region, (5th floor), On the morning of October 6, according to a report, a woman was found dead in a garbage bag between two Air Con Outdoor units outside the window of Room No. (502). Police officers went to investigate. They found the body of an unknown woman, about 20 years old, who had been killed in a plastic garbage bag and had her internal organs and left thigh meat cut out. Pabedan Township Police Station opened a case under Section 302 of the Penal Code (Pa) 96/2025. The security forces conducted an investigation and identified the deceased as Ma Su Myat Win (23), a resident of Nattalin Township, Bago Region.

In addition, efforts were made to arrest the perpetrators. The perpetrators were identified as Si Aung Khant Kyaw Zin, 18, of East Ward No. (7), Thaketa Township, and his girlfriend, a resident of East Shwe Gon Daing Ward, Bahan Township. The investigation revealed that they were Aung Chanthar House and Amon Aung, 18, and continued to arrest them. The two were arrested at their respective homes on the afternoon of October 7. The clothes worn by Aung Khant Kyaw Zin during the crime, two steel knives, and three mobile phones and related items, including a mobile phone used by the deceased, were seized from Aung Khant Kyaw Zin’s home.

According to the statement of the perpetrator, Aung Khant Kyaw Zin, he often played games excessively and watched foreign TV series about murder and body-snatching. On October 5, a Telegram channel called LEADER called Ma Su Myat Win to have sex with her for a fee. While she was having sex in room (502) of the 32nd Beauty Land Hotel in Panbedan Township, Ma Su Myat Win was brutally murdered with two steel knives, just like the characters in foreign TV series about murder and body disposal, according to the news release.

Then, her boyfriend, Amon Aung, was brought to the hotel to clean up the blood in the room and hide Ma Su Myat Win’s body. According to the news release, effective action is being taken against Aung Khant Kyaw Zin, who brutally killed a woman, and Amon Aung, who was involved in hiding the body, in accordance with the law.
