Disturbing details have surfaced regarding the death of Hilary Todson, who was allegedly thrown from the third floor of Oxygen Hotel in Woji, Port Harcourt.
Reports indicate that the main suspect has been identified as David Ilo, also known as David Emeka, who is accused of being a “kito” — a slang term within the LGBTQ+ community referring to individuals who deceive, exploit, or harm queer people.
Alleged Luring and Ransom Demand
According to Minority Watch, a human rights organization that advocates for marginalized groups, David Ilo Emeka allegedly lured, abducted, and later killed Hilary Todson.
The NGO stated that the suspect contacted Hilary’s mother, shared his bank account details, and demanded a ransom. When the ransom was not paid and Hilary reportedly tried to call for help, he was allegedly thrown off the hotel’s third-floor balcony.

The brutal killing has sparked widespread anger on social media and among human rights advocates, with many calling for swift justice for Hilary Todson and urging law enforcement to capture the suspect without delay.
