The victim is currently in Letaba Hospital, where she is recovering from her injuries.

According to Community Activist Miyelani Ramojela of Tzaneen Speak Out, the organization is collaborating with law enforcement to ensure justice is delivered.

The court date for the accused is scheduled to be announced.
