Yesterday, Jameer Jones went viral after calling out a DJ, DjDot Davis, for attempting to deduct $250 (the money he placed) from the $1,800 (negotiated money).
It was announced this afternoon that Jameer Jones died as a result of diabetic complications.
The information reads: "He just went viral one day earlier talking about how he paid a DJ $1,800 for his wedding. He only wanted positive feelings and a simple day with the woman he loved. But instead of excitement, he experienced worry. He attempted for days or weeks to reach out, clarify things, and ensure that everything was in order for his big day.
“The DJ kept giving him the runaround. Excuses, delays, and silence. Out of frustration, he finally asked for a refund — not to argue, but to move on and find someone else. She refused at first, then eventually sent the money back. That was just yesterday.
“Today… he’s gone.
His wedding was supposed to be in 7 days. Seven days away from saying “I do.” Seven days away from celebrating love. And now, instead of preparing for a wedding, his fiancée and family are preparing for a funeral.
“Life is so unpredictable. One day you’re planning forever, the next… everything changes. Praying for his fiancée, his family, and everyone who loved him.”
