Mason Caballero found dead near Ben Lomand High School

 Mason Caballero was shot dead at Ben Lomand High School.

Family members have revealed the identity of the Ogden teen killed in a shooting near Ben Lomond High School on Tuesday afternoon.

Mason Caballero was only 16 years old. He was shot 10-15 minutes after school ended.

Mason Caballero was tragically murdered on October 8 near the Ben Lomond High School campus. According to Capt. Tim Scott of the Ogden Police Department, Caballero proceeded to the Ben Lomond High School campus for assistance, and a school safety officer and other school officials attempted to save his life. Unfortunately, Caballero died as a result of his injuries.
