Tebogo Mnisi arrested in the Mamelodi double murder case.
Mamelodi, October 27, 2025 — According to an anonymous source, Tebogo Mnisi, a 38-year-old tavern bouncer, was detained today in Mamelodi East for the double murder of two young women who were cousins, as well as the attempted murder of a third person.
The terrible killings occurred approximately 2 a.m. on Sunday, October 26, in Mahube Valley Extension 17, and the bodies were discovered abandoned on the roadway. Tshiamo Moramaga, the victim, posted a WhatsApp message hours earlier that stated, "Tlaa go Tebogo ashuu wa actor moh" ("Come, Tebogo is acting up"), accusing Mnisi. Later that day, residents destroyed his residence.
SAPS arrested Mnisi at a Pretoria filling station. He will appear in Mamelodi Magistrate’s Court in Pretoria on Wednesday, 29 October, facing two counts of murder and one attempted murder. The Soil of Africa Civic Movement demands stronger patrols to curb violence.
