33-Year-Old Tune Morant Chong Killed, Another Critically Injured in Chicago Drive-By Shooting

A man identified as 33-year-old Tune Morant Chong has died, and another 23-year-old man is in critical condition following a shooting near Roosevelt and Millard around 9 p.m.

Chicago police responded to reports of two men shot inside a white Infiniti. When officers arrived, they found Chong with multiple gunshot wounds. He was transported to Mt. Sinai Hospital, where he was later pronounced dead.

The second victim was also taken to the hospital and remains in critical condition.

Police say the victims were driving when someone standing in the roadway opened fire on their vehicle. Authorities are still investigating the circumstances surrounding the attack.
