Stephanie Jensen, Fond du Lac Teacher’s Aide, Charged with Engaging in Unlawful Conduct with Minor

FOND DU LAC, Wis. — A former teacher’s aide from Fond du Lac, Wisconsin, has been charged with multiple offenses involving a teenage boy she is accused of engaging in unlawful conduct with, according to the Fond du Lac County Sheriff’s Office.

Stephanie Jensen, 41, faces two counts of child enticement, one count of sexual assault of a child, and three counts of sexual intercourse with a child, court documents show.

Investigators allege that Jensen developed an inappropriate relationship with the student while working as a second-grade classroom aide at Faith Lutheran School. The student, then in eighth grade, reported that Jensen began communicating with him in a personal manner that later became sexual in nature.

According to the criminal complaint, the student told police that the inappropriate relationship began when he was 15 and continued over a period of time. He also reported receiving personal images and messages from Jensen through social media.

During questioning, Jensen denied having any physical relationship with the student but admitted to sending images of herself. She was arrested on November 4 and taken into custody without major incident after initially resisting officers.

Faith Lutheran School confirmed that Jensen’s employment was terminated immediately after formal charges were filed.
In a statement, Principal Benjamin Rank said:

“Faith Lutheran School has terminated the employment of Stephanie Jensen upon formal charges being filed in court. We are committed to the safety and care of our students, staff, families, and community. We pray for all who are affected by these events.”

A judge has set Jensen’s cash bond at $200,000 and ordered her to have no contact with minors or the alleged victim, as well as to avoid social media use.

Jensen is scheduled to appear in court again on Tuesday.
