VIDEO:Ivan Cezar Ronquillo Reportedly Dies by Suicide as Questions Surround Gina’s Death

 

According to emerging reports, Ivan Cezar Ronquillo has reportedly taken his own life following the widespread circulation of Gina’s story, which gained traction on social media on November 17, 2025, portraying her as a victim of physical abuse.

ABS-CBN.com confirmed that Gina was declared dead on arrival at Quezon City General Hospital on Sunday, November 16.
QCPD spokesperson PMaj. Jennifer Gannaban stated:
“The hospital contacted Police Station 1 to report the incident, prompting officers to respond, and that is what was officially recorded.”

The preliminary cause of death was listed as “cardiac respiratory distress.”

However, the situation has intensified online as friends of Gina began speaking out, suggesting Ivan might have played a role in the events leading to her death.

Posts on Facebook and Reddit have also linked Ivan to Cezar M. Ronquillo, a former kagawad of Barangay Apolonio Samson in Quezon City, with users alleging that Cezar is his father.
Barangay officials confirmed to PEP.ph that Cezar’s last term ended before the May 2025 midterm elections, after having served as a councilor since 2018.
