VIDEO:Ellison Marcus Denell Jr. has been arrested following a violent assault at a Circle K gas station that left Noah Epperson seriously injured.

In a widely circulated video, Denell Jr. is allegedly seen delivering a forceful kick to Epperson’s face while he was on the ground. The footage has fueled public outrage as investigators continue identifying everyone involved in the attack.

The incident occurred just before midnight on January 17 at the Circle K on Malvern Avenue in Hot Springs. Police responded to reports of a large disturbance that reportedly spilled over from a nearby party. When officers arrived, they found 20-year-old Noah Epperson suffering from severe injuries, including a fractured skull and bleeding on both sides of his brain. He was rushed to a local hospital, where he remains in intensive care.

Authorities previously arrested 18-year-old Cooper Riley Camferdam of Benton, who has been charged with first-degree battery. Investigators say tips from the public and viral videos helped identify Camferdam as a key suspect, with footage allegedly showing him striking Epperson with a belt during the assault. He was taken into custody on January 19 and booked into the Garland County Detention Center.

Under Arkansas law, first-degree battery is a Class Y felony and carries a possible sentence of 10 to 40 years or life in prison.

Police have confirmed that multiple individuals were involved in the attack and have warned that people who recorded the assault without attempting to help could face legal consequences for failing to render aid, though no such charges have been filed so far.

The investigation remains ongoing, and additional arrests are expected. Meanwhile, a GoFundMe campaign has been launched by a friend to help cover Epperson’s medical expenses and support his family during his recovery.
