A serious collision occurred just south of Modoc Point, Oregon, early this morning, involving a passenger vehicle and a semi-truck. The crash was reported around 9:20 a.m. by the Oregon Department of Transportation and caused both directions of the highway to be blocked for several hours as emergency crews worked at the scene.
According to reports, one of the vehicles caught fire and became fully engulfed in flames following the collision. While details remain limited, at least one fatality is suspected, with the name Chris Collins being associated with the incident.
