It has been alleged that Norman Tommy was caught beating up his black wife, Rosalynd Nicole Guiden.

 Tommy Norman, a North Little Rock police officer who rose to viral celebrity as the "social media cop," was arrested on a charge of third-degree domestic battery following a violent episode involving his wife.  Read more here.

 Norman's wife reported that he struck her in the chest with the back of his hand during an argument, resulting in visible injuries.

 The officer, who is well-known for sharing uplifting videos of community outreach, assisting children, and promoting optimism to his millions of online followers, has been placed on administrative leave while the internal investigation and judicial proceedings continue.

 

Norman’s arrëst is especially shocking given his reputation as a bridge-builder in the community and a figure whose online presence often highlighted kindness and compassion.
