Chats showed man spent R10K on Moramaga cousins before being unalived in Mamelodi Ext 17.[PHOTO]

 

The tragic deaths of Tshiamo Moramaga (22) and Baleseng Moramaga (21) in Mamelodi East have shocked many people.

The two young women, cousins, were discovered dead early Sunday, October 26, 2025, in Mamelodi East, Tshwane (Pretoria).

The bodies were recovered along Sompisi Street, Extension 17, Mamelodi East.

According to the police, they came about 06:15 a.m., after neighborhood members discovered the bodies.  Both individuals had gunshot wounds to the head. A double murder inquiry has been launched.

Neighbours reported hearing arguments followed by gunfire. One neighbour claimed to have heard the victim (Tshiamo) plead, "Please leave me alone, you will cause me to make a mistake."

One of the women's cellphones was allegedly stolen, while the other's phone remained in her pocket.


Family members described the pair as very close: “they did everything together.”
