Reward to catch man spent R10,000 alcohol on Tshiamo Moramaga with Baleseng Moramaga in Mamelodi Ext 17

The tragic deaths of Tshiamo Moramaga (22) and Baleseng Moramaga (21) in Mamelodi East have left the community in shock and mourning.

The two cousins were discovered lifeless early on Sunday, 26 October 2025, along Sompisi Street in Extension 17, Mamelodi East, Tshwane (Pretoria).

According to police reports, officers arrived at the scene around 6:15 a.m. after residents alerted them to the bodies. Both victims had suffered gunshot wounds to the head, prompting the launch of a double-murder investigation.

Neighbours claim they heard a heated argument followed by gunshots. One witness recalled hearing Tshiamo pleading, saying, “Please leave me alone, you’ll make me make a mistake.”

It is also alleged that one of the victims’ cellphones was stolen, while the other’s remained in her pocket.

Family members described Tshiamo and Baleseng as inseparable cousins who did everything together.

Meanwhile, reports suggest that a man who had spent R10,000 on alcohol for Tshiamo Moramaga and Baleseng Moramaga in Mamelodi Extension 17 is being sought in connection with the case. Authorities have announced that a reward has been offered for information leading to his capture.
