Fallon Hare, wife of Cordova police officer Jason Hare, reacts to video of him improperly groping a young female employee.

 

Jason Hare, the police chief in Cordova, Alabama, was captured on tape sexually harassing (and, in my opinion, assaulting) an 18-year-old female employee.

According to news reports, the girl's relatives stated that she was terrified during the event and was hesitant to come forward.

A few weeks later, another coworker watched the video recording, asked if she was okay, and reported the incident.

Hare resigned.

Cordova Mayor Jeremy Pate said the following:
“Only thing I can say is that nobody wants to be in a position like that. Flesh is weak. People get caught up in stuff sometimes that they don’t intentionally or don’t necessarily want to do. “I’m not making excuses for anybody, I’m just saying everybody gets caught up in situations that aren’t good situations. So, we need to make sure we are keeping ourselves in positions that are professional and doing the right things.”
