Hidalgo County Sheriff Eddie Guerra confirmed to KRGV that a man shot and killed his wife outside a daycare in Donna, Texas before committing suicide.

It is claimed that it was an act of DV. It occurred around 3 p.m. on Stites Road, outside a daycare with five children inside.

According to Guerra, the man (41) pushed his way inside the building where his divorced wife (26), worked. They had been separated after he was caught cheating.

She got him away from the children and ran out the back; he followed her, shot her, and then laid next to her, killing himself.
