Tumo Mmolawa is in jail for defaming a doctor at Bophelong Hospital

(MMABATHO). In a developing narrative, famous Magogoe businessman Tumo Mmolawa is claimed to have been detained by police after making a social media post attacking a local doctor.

According to our sources, Mmolawa was arrested at his home on Monday morning. The arrest is in connection with a now-viral Facebook post from last week, in which he allegedly made severe claims against a doctor at Bophelong Hospital.

The doctor in question allegedly filed a case of character defamation, which resulted in an investigation and subsequent arrest.While official confirmation is pending, unverified reports indicate that Mmolawa is scheduled to make his first court appearance at the Mmabatho Magistrate Court on Thursday morning. He is currently allegedly being held in the holding cells at the Mmabatho Police Station.
