Arkansas Woman and Mission Outreach Director Charged After Alleged Assault on Teen Trick-or-Treater

Paragould, Arkansas — A 41-year-old woman identified as Trish Eubanks, the Developmental Director of Mission Outreach of Northeast Arkansas, has been arrested and charged after allegedly assaulting a 16-year-old girl on Halloween night.

According to the Greene County Sheriff’s Office, Eubanks faces charges of felony second-degree battery, third-degree battery, and felony first-degree terroristic threatening following the incident.

Authorities say the confrontation occurred during neighborhood trick-or-treating in Paragould, where Eubanks allegedly struck a teenage girl, identified by family as Josie Noblin. The teen sustained serious facial injuries, including fractures to both eye sockets, her nose, and cheekbones.

Social media posts from witnesses quickly drew public attention to the incident, showing images of the teen’s injuries and sparking widespread outrage.

The victim’s mother, Mandy Jo, shared photos on Facebook, stating that her daughter had suffered multiple facial fractures and was referred to a specialist for possible surgery. “She’s claiming self-defense,” the post read, “even though there were at least 50 witnesses who saw what really happened.”

Eubanks has denied the accusations, claiming she acted in self-defense after a prior disagreement with the teenager escalated that night.

Mission Outreach of NEA’s website lists Eubanks as its Developmental Director, with the nonprofit’s mission focused on “housing the homeless, caring for the sick, and feeding the hungry.”

Eubanks was arrested by Paragould Police three days after the incident amid increasing public scrutiny online. The investigation remains ongoing.

Mission Outreach Director Still Employed Amid Assault Charges

Trish Eubanks, Arkansas woman & Mission Outreach director charged with beating up Arkansas teen trick-or-treating.

Despite facing multiple felony charges, Trish Eubanks continues to hold her position as Development Director at Mission Outreach of Northeast Arkansas (NEA).

In a statement to NEA Report, Trish’s husband, Chris Eubanks, defended his wife’s actions, saying:

“It’s unfortunate that some people listen to one side of a story and accept it without hearing all the facts. We rest in knowing the truth, which is that we acted honorably, reasonably, and responsibly under the circumstances.”

Responding to public concern, Captain Jason Elms of the Paragould Police Department commented, “As you know, there are always three sides to every story,” suggesting that the investigation remains open and that all accounts are still being reviewed.

As of Tuesday, November 5, Mission Outreach NEA has not released any official public statement regarding the allegations. Eubanks remains employed with the organization in her current role.
