Florida Woman Arrested After Driving 107 mph to Make It to Little Caesars Before Closing

A 21-year-old Florida woman learned the hard way that pizza cravings are not a legal emergency.

Yazmin Erazo was arrested in Palm Harbor after deputies say she was caught speeding at 107 mph in a 55 mph zone late Thursday night. According to the arrest affidavit, Erazo admitted she was rushing to get to Little Caesars before it closed at midnight.

Deputies stopped her along U.S. Highway 19, where she reportedly explained the reason behind her dangerous speed. She was taken into custody and charged with reckless driving / excessive speeding.

Erazo was booked into the Pinellas County Jail and later bonded out.
No word yet on whether she ever got her pizza — but it’s safe to assume the hot-and-ready was not waiting for her.
