Radio Legend Big Tigger Arrested for Aggravated Battery After Wife Alicia Brown Alleges Being Shoved Into Door at Sandy Springs Home

Radio and television personality Big Tigger, whose real name is Damon Morgan, has been arrested by Sandy Springs Police on serious charges following an alleged domestic violence incident at his home, despite claims from his camp that he never intended to harm his wife.

According to an arrest affidavit, Morgan's wife Alicia Brown told investigators that during an argument at their Sandy Springs home in May, Morgan shoved her into an office door. The impact was severe enough to cause a deep laceration above her left eye that required medical stitches to close.

Sandy Springs Police have charged Morgan with aggravated battery, battery, and third-degree cruelty to children. The cruelty to children charge stems from the fact that the couple's 13-year-old son was present in the home at the time of the altercation, upstairs within earshot of the physical confrontation.

Those speaking on Morgan's behalf have pushed back against the narrative, claiming that he never intended to physically harm Alicia and that the incident arose from an attempt to retrieve his phone from her during the argument. However, the injuries sustained by Alicia Brown and the subsequent police investigation resulted in his arrest regardless of the stated intent.

The case has sent shockwaves through the entertainment community, where Big Tigger is widely known and respected as a longtime fixture in radio and television broadcasting. The investigation remains ongoing.
