Smith Joedacie Samwann Wanted After Mother Records Disturbing Incident Involving Her Child

 

TEXARKANA, Ark. — Authorities are requesting the public’s assistance in locating a man wanted on a felony warrant following a widely circulated video that prompted community concern.

The Texarkana Arkansas Police Department (TAPD) identified the suspect as 32-year-old Joedacie S. Smith, who is wanted on charges of sexual indecency with a child and indecent exposure.

In an official statement, TAPD urged Smith to surrender to law enforcement.

“We encourage anyone with a felony warrant to turn themselves in to the police department and allow these situations to be handled in court,” the department said.

Investigators are asking anyone with information about Smith’s whereabouts to contact 911, the TAPD at 903-798-3130, or Crime Stoppers at 903-793-7867.
Officials note that all tips can remain anonymous while the investigation continues.
