Former Lee Obstetrics and Gynecology employee Amber Hester has gone viral after revealing on TikTok and Facebook that she was fired from her job following an arrest related to a Failure to Appear (FTA) charge.
According to Hester, she was denied time off by her team lead, Morgan Walters, and administrator Janie Marino (the wife of Dr. Marino), preventing her from attending a scheduled court date. This led to her arrest and eventual termination — which management allegedly justified by saying it created “a bad look for the business.”
In her detailed post, Hester accused the clinic of unprofessional behavior and workplace misconduct, claiming:
-
Walters frequently mocked patients in text messages.
-
Walters allegedly tried to pursue a patient’s husband, later joking about it with the HR manager.
-
Administrators, including Marino, followed and confronted her as she collected her belongings, threatening to call the police despite her leaving peacefully.
-
Walters had been “targeting” her for weeks, allegedly over unpaid reimbursements and a timecard dispute.
Hester said she’s the third employee forced out since May, suggesting a pattern of mistreatment.
Her story has sparked major discussion online, with both former staff and patients sharing similar complaints about the clinic.
Hester ended her post by thanking supporters and asking for job leads, writing that the outpouring of messages from past colleagues “speaks volumes.”
