McLuving it… A Michigan woman is wanted by police after surveillance footage captured her throwing hot coffee at a McDonald’s manager during an argument, leaving the worker scalded. The incident occurred at a McDonald’s in Saginaw and has since circulated widely online.
According to the Buena Vista Police Department, the woman has been identified as Casharra Brown. The footage shows Brown in a heated exchange with the manager before she suddenly flings the cup of steaming coffee at her. The victim’s identity has not been released, but she can be heard screaming in pain after being hit.
Not McLuving It!
Cops seek to arrest irate McDonald’s customer on felonious charges.
‘Catch that hot-a– coffee!’ a voice can be heard reacting, as Brown walks out of the store immediately afterward. Police say the manager suffered minor burns but did not require hospital treatment.
Authorities confirmed that a warrant is now out for Brown’s arrest.
‘We know where she lives,’ police told Fox News, adding that they are working to apprehend her. Prosecutors have been asked to pursue felonious assault charges.
The incident began after Brown placed an order through the McDonald’s app, but did not provide her name or payment information. When she arrived to collect her food, confusion arose over her order. The manager attempted to resolve the situation and even offered Brown a complimentary coffee to calm tensions.
However, the argument escalated.
‘You’ve got your coffee,’ the manager said.
‘That’s all that you were charged for. Your refund will take up to 48 hours.’
Surveillance footage shows Brown removing the lid and throwing the coffee just as the manager begins to walk away.
‘F–k you, b—h,’ Brown yelled during the act before leaving the restaurant.
Police are urging Brown to turn herself in as the investigation continues.
