Shreveport, Louisiana — A 26-year-old woman identified as Armoni “Karlei Rai” Anderson has died following a tragic shooting that occurred Sunday afternoon while she sat in a parked vehicle with her family.
According to the Shreveport Police Department (SPD), officers responded to what was initially believed to be a traffic accident near the intersection of Claiborne Avenue and Queens Highway. Upon arrival, police discovered a man and a woman suffering from multiple gunshot wounds, along with a young child in the backseat who miraculously escaped unharmed.
Both adults were rushed to the hospital, where Armoni Anderson succumbed to her injuries later that evening. The man, believed to be the child’s father, remains hospitalized and is fighting for his life in critical condition, according to KTAL News.

Authorities have not yet confirmed whether the shooting was a random act or a targeted attack. Early reports suggest the incident may have been domestic-related, though investigations remain ongoing.
Detectives are currently reviewing surveillance footage and physical evidence in an effort to identify those responsible. As of now, no arrests have been made.
