Traevion Pirtle Found Dead Near Church After Week-Long Disappearance

Authorities are investigating the death of 18-year-old Traevion Pirtle, whose body was discovered behind a church near 38th Street and Mitthoefer Road in Indianapolis.

Pirtle had been missing for about a week before his remains were found near Fervent Ministries. Police at the scene stated that his death did not appear to be natural, prompting an ongoing investigation.

According to reports, Pirtle’s body was located about half a mile from the Briarbrook Village subdivision, where he was last seen.

Investigators say two individuals — Amaari Zachery and Manman 3bk — were reportedly among the last people seen with Pirtle before his disappearance. However, authorities have not confirmed their involvement, and their connection to the case remains unclear.

A police report obtained by media currently lists the case as a “death investigation.” Detectives are continuing to gather evidence and determine the circumstances surrounding Pirtle’s death.

Officials have not yet announced any arrests as the investigation remains ongoing.
