A man identified as Charles Donners, of Donner Mechanical, has been permanently banned from a beloved local breakfast spot after security footage capturing his extraordinarily poor behavior inside the establishment went viral across multiple social media platforms, racking up millions of views and drawing widespread condemnation.

The incident took place on June 28 at SPoT! breakfast shop in Norwood, Massachusetts, where Donners was caught on surveillance camera tearing apart his bagel sandwich and tossing the pieces onto the floor before knocking his food container off the table entirely. The footage also showed him chewing with his mouth open, visibly shocking his female dining companion who was seated across from him.

Shop owner Perry Makarios discovered the mess upon arriving at his establishment and pulled up the security footage to understand what had happened. He admitted that the behavior was so bizarre and difficult to comprehend that he had to watch the footage approximately twelve times before he could fully process what he was seeing.

Believing the public deserved to see the clip, Makarios posted the footage to TikTok, Instagram, and Facebook, accompanied by a caption urging anyone who recognized the man to encourage him to learn some manners. The video quickly exploded online, drawing reactions from across the country.

Among those who weighed in was former New England Patriots captain David Andrews, who humorously noted that he would have simply picked up the discarded bagel and eaten it himself, underlining just how wasteful the behavior was.

Makarios has since permanently banned Donners from the establishment, adding that customers who are dissatisfied with their experience are always welcome to leave a review — but trashing the restaurant is never an acceptable response.
